The Flamenco history is to be traced back to the 16th century. There are not many documents about the founding of the art form but it is believed originate from migrants who moved aways from India, entering Arabic countries and settled in Southern Spain. Various versions of the history of flamenco, however, the unique art form impacts the audience one way or another with its immense expression of one's emotions. It has drawned popularity around the world including the far east. 2-3 decades ago, many Japanese fell in love with Flamenco and there is a strange similarity between Flamenco and traditional Japanese music.
